Unlimited Lenz Mission

To empower inner-city youth into stepping into their personal leadership by exploration of self identity development, character skill building, and scholastic achievement by providing mentorship, facilitated coaching and real-world experiences.

Executive Summary

Unlimited Lenz, (UL) is a youth and family centered non-profit organization that is dedicated to empowering inner-city adolescents by providing mentoring, resources, and coaching for development. The comprehensive life skills are facilitated by coaches/instructors who have shared lived experiences with many community youth. Connections are made through shared demographics, culture and values, which are then used to create structured learning of various life skill development. The Program has a strong emphasis on Social-Emotional Learning tools that can be used in school, the workforce, and within the greater community abroad. This Program is based on commitment to service that builds resilient youth and families. Consistency is priority, and gives the participants comfort in knowing they have allies that champion their growth through adulthood and beyond. ULI aims to elevate youth and families by also providing them with opportunities outside of the city. Part of the development platform is creating personalized pathways that lead youth to out-of-state colleges, internships, apprenticeships, and career opportunities. The ULI national network of Unlimited Mentors consists of professional athletes, entertainers, community leaders, entrepreneurs, business professionals, K-12 school officials, politicians, business executives, and more.

IN-SCHOOL MODEL

Phase 1: (August-September)

 Alignment between Unlimited Lenz & School/Organization School based assessment of needs; followed by intervention plan

Phase 2: (September-October)

 Matching students with Unlimited Lenz mentors Initial full group intake of student participants Create specific goals per student alongside strategy implementation plan

Phase 3: (November- June)

 Mentoring/Advocacy dissemination through school year Access to additional resources and activities, including but not limited to support with high school/ college access, internship/apprenticeship opportunities, physical health and wellness support, academic tutoring

Phase 4: (July)

 Culminating assessment debriefing of service delivered and creation of next years goals
